Cloudia,
I didn't attend grad school until I was sure I could get my $ back from the expense of it. First grad school was PA school, 7 years post-undergrad. Then second grad (MBA) school was 12 years post-undergrad. I also was 'forced' to attend grad school due to career matriculation of moving from needing a BS to masters in order to stay employed. And second graduate degree was a bit of a 'force' as well, I lost my position secondary to elimination of the position.
All encompassing and a thought-out process/journey is necessary. No matter what you decide make certain the pay is going to cover your expenses during the degree attainment process. Then as well make certain there is need in the future for your skills and degree within the field you choose to stay or industry you want to pursue/stay within. And to close, you need to make $ to support yourself without assistance....will your choices in your professional degree(s) make you employable, create value, and sustain you longterm?
That is my experience(s) and thoughts from a veteran-professional in the healthcare industry.
If I may help in any way, reach out. I am here to support your journey and process and growth.
