My name is Elizabeth Fanger, I just joined BGS and was hoping the community could offer me some advice? I am an undergraduate student at Cleveland State University majoring in Accounting and Management. I will graduate 2 years from now and want to have a job lined up by that point but I am also hoping to leave Cleveland at the same time. I have not yet decided where I want to move but I am in the process of deciding what city/cities I want to target. What I need advice on is how to best achieve my goal of lining up an out of town job while being a full time student?

My grades are solid and I have some internship experience in accounting and could probably do another internship before graduation without changing my graduation date.

Anything you have to say would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'd suggest researching the cities you are interested in and the companies that are located there. You can apply remotely and most initial interviews are on the phone.  Once you need an on-site interview, some companies are willing to pay for you to come out or you can pay if you think you have a good shot.

Even if there are companies that don't have positions listed you can email HR about your graduation date and maybe they will keep you in mind or have something that's not yet listed for you.
