I am humbled to have been elected by my peers as President Elect of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. In my year as President Elect, I look forward to working with Angela Feeser as President, Tim Robinson as Immediate Past President, and the rest of the Board of Directors. We have a challenging year ahead of us and I am excited to part of the leadership of this outstanding organization.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been licensed since June 2000. I am also involved in training new therapists and I am Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) sine 2011. I earned my Bachelor of Science in 1992 from Florida Tech, and my Master of Arts in Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology in 1996. I started as a case manager before becoming a therapist, working in community behavioral health, where I practiced as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of other therapists, case managers, nurses, and doctors. It was in this environment where I learned to treat the large variety of issues brought to our clinic by a diverse population. I have used that expertise in both my personal practice and to develop clinical programs for clinics and treatment centers.
I am practicing using both Teletherapy and Face to Face visits at Psych Atlanta.
