    Hello everyone. My name is Burcu and I recently joined BGS. I am attending Cal. State University Northridge and majoring in Management. I have to take an internship class next year and I need to find an internship before I can take that class. I am currently looking for an internship and I used Handshake to apply to some internships. Handshake is a really good website, but I need to apply to as many internships as possible to ensure that I can find one that I like before the summer ends. I was wondering what other tools I could use to find an internship? I would appreciate if you guys could help me with that.

    LinkedIn is a very good tool and commonly used in the professional scene. Network a lot and don't be afraid to ask for help or ask if they know someone that can help you.

    I would also consider looking at personal connections - anyone you know from outside of work/school. That is how I am finding many of mine.

    I agree on the personal connections. I found many internships and jobs through connections.  Knowing someone in the organization is a big hurdle when there are positions so many people apply for.
