Hello members, I am Gourav Salotra from India, I am an MBA graduate from Solbridge International School of Business (South Korea). I am glad to be a part of BGS I hope it will help me in one way or the other adding diversity to my connections.
I am looking forward to Pursuing PhD in Finance/Financial Engineering/Data Science but the majority of schools/universities demand a research master instead of an MBA.

any suggestion guys how can I fulfil my dream of joining a good PhD program?

    Thank You in advance.

    Regards,
    Gourav Salotra

    Hello Gourav,

    Welcome to the BGS community.
Reviewing the research that I have done to enter a Ph.D. program in Marketing, I would suggest looking into taking the GMAT and GRE. Barely any school required to have a research master's.
To have the first idea of decent Ph.D. programs have a look at https://businessdocnet.com/ or review recent articles of the top journals in your domain.
As doing a Ph.D. is all about the research you might want to look around on google scholar and start networking with distinguished researchers in your field to prepare for applications: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiYsfrG1vPvAhV3gf0HHYNjB-0QFjABegQIBRAD&url=https%3A%2F%2Fscholar.google.com%2Fcitations%3Fview_op%3Dtop_venues%26hl%3Den%26vq%3Dbus_finance&usg=AOvVaw1eiS_fVGsGP966oRjZXyOa

Hope this helps to make your first steps. Best of luck with your applications.
