Hello Yan Xu,
Yan, after reading your post, I wanted to take time out today (Saturday), and introduce myself, while most importantly, welcoming you to BGS. Welcome aboard!!!
First of all Yan, congrats on your academic achievement with your earned Master's degree in Business Analytics. Yan, we are like minded in that regard. Currently, I am a West Texas A&M University, College of Business, MBA student (CIS emphasis). My academic and professional interests are in business analytics and from what I have read, studied and heard, business analytics in the healthcare industry is going to be the "wave" of the future. Yan, I am not a surfer by trade but, I do NOT want to miss that industry "wave". That is one of many reasons why I am also focusing academically in business analytics.
Also, it is neat to read that you graduated from Villanova. Yan, Villanova Men's basketball team has been one of my favorites for many, many years. In my opinion, Villanova has one of the BEST Coaches (Jay Wright) in the NCAA!!! Yan, I am a US Air Force and GW veteran, but a couple of months ago, when I read and heard that the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament was going to be cancelled, I literally shed a tear or two. However, despite the current challenges with COVID-19, I look forward to the 2021 NCAA basketball season. I'm very sure that Villanova will be situated with the "elite" basketball teams, when 2021 March Madness rolls around.
Finally, Yan, I will send you a LinkedIn invitation to connect as well....OK. Yan, once again, welcome Yan to BGS and look forward to chatting, communicating and exchanging with you in the very near future. Have a great Saturday (May 9, 2020).
