Good morning everyone and Happy New Year! I'm delighted to be part of this community discussion.
My name is Bill Stauffer and I'm the faculty BGS Chapter Advisor at The College of William & Mary, Mason School of Business. I have the pleasure of being a Clinical Associate Professor after more than four decades as a commercial trial and business attorney in the Mid-Atlantic area (primarily Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland). I'm hoping to help make BGS an effective platform for our members in (i) finding career opportunities and (ii) advising other members of career opportunities within businesses and organizations with which we're affiliated. I'd also like to engage members in a discussion about how their BGS membership and experience has helped them in career opportunities and advancement within their own organizations. And, generally, how can we improve the tangible benefits of membership.
It's a big list for the New Year - but now is the time to start. I'm very proud of the "best of the best" in our Chapter and want to do whatever I can to help make BGS selection and membership meaningful.
