Hello BGS Staff and Members,
I'm Nick Chapman, I was honored to receive an invention to this organization this semester. I just finished my MBA at NIU (This week), I did my undergrad in Computer Science there as well. I am currently unemployed and looking for work. At my last job I was a Business Unit Developer. With only two other people I was managing and helping set up a business unit that developer virtual reality Modules. These Modules were made for electricians and aimed to test the physical skills they should've learned in their respective year, in a Virtual Reality Environment. Everyday my task were different, I was able to wear many hats and keep my day-to-day very challenging, but more-over enjoyable, and interesting. I am not sure what the job will hold, but I am looking forward to continued learning and new challenges.
You can often find me mountain biking, or road biking (looking to start competitively soon), hiking- frankly any outdoor activity. Aside from that, I write and of course I enjoy a good book. Other than that I have fascination and spend my time talking with friends about: philosophy, economics, investments and financial management, governmental structures and their appropriateness for different societies. As well, I certainly enjoy a good conversation and meeting new people. On that note, the whole COVID thing has been challenging, especially with all online classes. I figured posting on here and saying hello to the community would be a good start. Thanks for taking the time to read my intro, have a great day everyone.
All the best,
Nick
