    We are striving to increase our business affiliate participation with BGS.  Have you visited the website to see what Educational and Professional benefits we offer?  Recently, we added Dell Computers and Absolute Internship.

    A challenge we face, is finding organizations that are based in the United States, that also have connections in other countries, willing to offer benefits/discounts to our members. 

    As a BGS member, what are some benefits/discounts that you would like to see?

    Hi Cindy,

    I really like this question. I think BGS as a group would hugely benefit from finding better networking and career opportunities, in a better BGS platform where interactions could be made much easier. If networking is made much easier, obviously several companies would be willing to pick up talent from this fabulous crowd thereby gaining popularity and traction to BGS website itself. This could potentially be revenue generating also to BGS. 
    In summary, I really think this BGS platform could be made much better for members to interact and for companies to interact with members.

    I would be interested to hear what others think about this.

    Hi Cindy,

    Thank You for the question! I agree with Hemina. There needs to be frictionless networking possibility within the group - be it revamping the existing platform or leveraging a third party platform like FB or LinkedIn.
    In addition, I would want to see BGS support members who want to organize networking events in their respective country. Support financially or through affiliations with vendors for venue or food.

    I think those are great suggestions. Srikanth, I'd like to inform you about our Alumni Network. We currently have over 45 Alumni Chapters and Networking Groups internationally. Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Chapters and Networking Groups hold a variety of events and activities for BGS members. The purpose of these events are to provide networking and professional development opportunities for BGS members. I would be more than happy to assist you in getting connected with your local Alumni Chapter/Networking Group.  If there is not a group near you, I would be more than happy to assist you in getting a group started.     Hello Cindy,

    When I first joined BGS, I was really excited to hear about all of the member benefits that are provided. I recently began my journey toward an MBA, and I would love to see more benefits that would assist with that process. I know the BGS website lists a variety of discounts for GMAT prep courses, including the course that I ultimately chose (Princeton Review). However, when I called the Princeton Review customer service department, they had no record of a BGS discount. Similarly, the BGS website lists a discount on the GMAT exam itself. However, when I entered the promo code while registering for the exam, an error popped up saying the discount expired on 12/31/2019. I think BGS is definitely headed in the right direction by offering GMAT prep and GMAT exam discounts, but it would be helpful if those discounts were kept up to date and renewed as applicable.

    Hi Sydney,

    Thanks so much for sharing your experience with a couple of our benefits--we are so sorry you had issues. We're working with Princeton Review and GMAT to get the updated coupon codes and information so that this doesn't happen to anyone else, and we'll be updating our website as soon as we have it.
