Are you looking for your first job after graduation? Ready to move to the next level? Wanting to change career direction completely?
Job seeking can be exciting, enlightening, and can help you move up, move on, and succeed. It can also be frustrating, confusing, and disappointing.
The purpose of the Job Seeker's Café community is to provide a place for BGS members to share support, insight, and good solid tips that will help anyone get their first or next position. Do you have a question (or maybe a few)? Post it here and get advice from others. Is there a strategy that has been particularly helpful to you when looking for a job? Share it with your colleagues? Do you work in HR/Talent Acquisition? Let others in on what are the trending practices in your field. Get support for yourself and support others as we all try to find our best fit in the business world.
THIS IS NOT A RESUMÉ/JOB POSTING COMMUNITY. Instead, we will focus on what works, what doesn't work, and what we are doing to succeed in finding that perfect job. Of course, feel free to mention outside resources you have used, including job coaches, job posting sites, and good guide books, web pages, or essays that have been helpful to you, or that you think will help others. Please minimize or, better yet, refrain from blatant promotion of your own business or others. Documents and web links can be posted in the group's library for reference.
Working cooperatively, collaboratively, and respectfully, we can make the community the first place to go when you're seeking a job!
Thanks for joining in.
