Hi everyone, A pleasant good afternoon to you all. My name is Wesley Roberts sr and I just joined the BGS chapter at Brooklyn NY, Brooklyn College Chapter. I am in my final semester of my master program majoring in Accounting and also studying to take my first CPA Exam (FAR) . I am very excited to be apart of this awesome network and looking forward to getting to know you all in years to come and honored to be apart of such a wonderful community of hardworking people.

Hi Wesley,
I'm also finding this an awesome network and am finding it a great place to exchange ideas.  One major advantage of sharing on this network is that all members have been vetted by their school.  Although a management major, some of my information system courses were cross listed with accounting as there was really not a discipline for information systems.  I briefly considered looking at CPA, but then remembered that I did not really like accounting.  It wasn't until later that I realized the relationship between tracking activities within a business and accounting were quite a natural fit.  I wish you the best as you continue in your career.
