Welcome & Introductions

Beta Gamma Sigma has 32 Alumni Chapters and 16+ Networking Groups located all over the world. Many Alumni Chapters offer in person and virtual events. These events are used to promote networking and many offer an educational aspect.

What types of events would you like to see held by your local Alumni Chapter?

I would like to see more virtual team building activities. I think these exercises are effective in a professional work environment to help build collaboration and teamwork. These challenges could also be used as a fun challenge to help bring people and like minds closer together which makes networking more effective.

I would like to have more face to face networking meetings, as far is possible. I would recommend monthly meetings, with a extensive communication, thus we can all be aware of those meetings and sign up with time in advance. It would be very interesting too to have speakers, however that can be offered every two meetings.

In addition, nowadays, more companies are putting emphasis on hiring based on character. Finance is a very competitive field, networking can be a great way to make a difference and achieve key career goals.
