Hello everyone, I'm Karin Jones. I earned my Executive MBA from Pepperdine University's Graziadio School in 2008 and have spent nearly 40 years specializing in African safari travel.
I'm the Founder and CEO of Safari AweCrafters, where I design highly personalized journeys throughout Africa for private travelers and also work behind the scenes with travel advisors who want specialist Africa expertise for their clients. I still spend significant time in Africa each year, which is one of the great joys of my work and keeps me closely connected to the people, places, conservation projects, guides, and lodge owners who shape the experiences I create. Mention BGS and we can offer a special Friends & Family discount.

I also host and co-produce Safari ChangeMakers, a docu-podcast focused on the people and ideas influencing the future of safari tourism, conservation, and community engagement in Africa. Safari ChangeMakers Podcast on YouTube
Outside of work, many of my interests are not all that separate from it. I love travel, wildlife, conservation, food and wine, meeting interesting people, and continuing to learn about a continent that has fascinated me since my first years in the business.
I'm delighted to be part of the Beta Gamma Sigma community and look forward to getting to know more of you, learning about the paths your careers have taken, and making some new connections along the way.
