    Hello Everyone,

My name is Alejandra Bermell, and I am thrilled to be a new member of Beta Gamma Sigma! I am an exchange student from Spain at the University of North Florida, where I am studying international Business and finance. My goal now is to find a good internship for spring 2026, which can provide me with experience and networking opportunities. I am more interested in sales and marketing but Finance could also be an interesting choice for my internship.

Alongside my studies, I have previous work experience in catering and social media management. I am currently working as a Student Ticketing Staff at UNF.

I'm excited about the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals in this community and expand my professional network. Looking forward to learning from all of you!

    Hola Alejandra,

Welcome to BGS and congratulations on your business academic studies at University of North Florida.

What caught my attention when I read your message, was that you are an exchange student from Espana.

Back in the early 1990s, I was stationed (US Air Force), at Torrejon Air Base, Spain, just outside of Madrid.  I really enjoyed my 3-year military assignment at Torrejon.  Alejandra, to this very day (March 31, 2025), I STILL have LOTS of fond memories of my days at both Torrejon Air Base and Madrid.

Again, welcome to BGS and I wish you continued success at University of North Florida.  Finally, it has been a LONG.......LONG time from the last time, I enjoyed a nice glass of "Sangria".

    Welcome,

    Jose Rodriguez
