Ellie,
Congratulations and welcome to Beta Gamma Sigma, we're excited to have you!
It sounds like you've gained some great hands-on experience already and as a bonus, hopefully getting to spend time in both Italy and Spain was as wonderful as it sounds. Of the opportunities you're exploring right now, which area interests you the most?
I saw you mentioned San Francisco, Chicago, and San Diego, and I'm happy to say that we have BGS alumni chapters in all three of those areas. If you haven't already, I encourage you to connect with them as it might be a great way to meet fellow members and continue building your network in those areas. You can find a link to our alumni chapter contacts on our website or by clicking here.
On behalf of BGS HQ, we wish you all the best as you take this next step in your career and we're glad to have you as part of our community!

Hello BGS Community!
My name is Ellie Flynn, and I just graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business with concentrations in Operations & Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship. I am currently searching for my first post-grad role and would love to connect with anyone who might have insight, leads, or simply a few minutes to share their experience.
A little about me: I grew up in Wisconsin, studied abroad in Siena, Italy, and spent last winter living and interning in Madrid, Spain - so I have developed a genuine comfort operating across cultures and building things from scratch. My most formative professional experience was serving as the first operations hire at a mission-driven startup in Spain, where I built community infrastructure, designed outreach systems, and grew engagement across 15 communities in 3 cities. I have also worked in fine dining hospitality, academic tutoring, and led a team consulting project for Moss Adams and Baker Tilly, redesigning how work gets allocated across a national firm.
The roles and environments I am most drawn to sit at the intersection of people, strategy, and purpose. I am actively pursuing opportunities in operations and business development coordination, brand and community management, client success and account management, and marketing strategy - ideally at companies whose mission I can genuinely connect to. Industries pulling me in right now include travel and hospitality, food and sustainability, media and creative culture, and consulting.
I am targeting San Francisco, Chicago, and San Diego but open to conversations anywhere. If something comes to mind or you want to connect, you can reach me best by email: flynnelc@outlook.com or text (262)-444-1668. I am really excited to join this strong community and looking forward to any advice or conversations we can spark!
Thank you!
