Welcome & Introductions

Talofa Everyone,

My name is Semo Asa, I am married with three young single adult children, in 2020 the last of our children left the comfort zone and our home has since become an empty nest. Reflecting on the sudden changes that have come upon our family and our lives, my wife and I decided to seek further education. In March 2023, I graduated with an MBA at the Auckland University of Technology, while my wife is currently completing a bachelor's degree at BYU- Idaho. I'm grateful for the opportunity to further our education and appreciate the recognition and invitation to be part of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society. I look forward to connecting and networking with a pool of diverse and unique people.

My experiences lie in training and development, operations and project management. I'm in the process of applying for further studies in postgraduate research papers. I look forward to hearing and reading your stories.

Semo,

First, congratulations and welcome to Beta Gamma Sigma.  You are part of the most elite organization of the AACSB Schools of Business.   Your membership in BGS tells me that you have been an extraordinary student.  You have mastered a pathway in education that some only think about achieving.  Congratulations to your wife on her academic successes too!

I am the BGS Chapter Faculty Advisor for Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh, PA.  I am entering my fifth year in this ENJOYABLE role.  I have witnessed many transformations of students to leaders as a result of their membership and leadership role in our chapter.   BGS is well-known in our Rockwell School of Business and also on our campus.

My only suggestion at this time for you is NOT to stop pursuing your dreams.  You have the perseverance to succeed and it shows in your journey.

Best of luck to you,

Greg Krivacek
