Hello Beta Gamma Sigma Community,
I hope this message finds you all doing well. I've been a proud member of Beta Gamma Sigma since 2020 and am now pursuing a master's degree in Data Analytics at Boston University. Moving to the U.S. has been an exciting journey, but I'm currently facing challenges in securing shortlists for internships and job interviews in this competitive market.
I know this community is filled with incredible professionals who've navigated similar challenges, and I'd love to hear your advice. Specifically, I'd appreciate insights on:
- Improving applications to stand out to recruiters.
- Strategies for networking and connecting with industry professionals.
- Any resources within Beta Gamma Sigma that could be helpful.
If anyone is open to sharing their experiences or pointing me toward mentorship or networking opportunities, I would be immensely grateful. I've attached my resume for reference and would love any constructive feedback as well.
Thank you for your time and for being such an inspiring community. I look forward to learning from your experiences and suggestions!
Warm regards,
Gourav Salottra
