Come help care for animals in need, meet fellow alumni, and give back to the community. In celebration of the season, this will also be a special Christmas Event Day at Special Pals—bringing holiday cheer to the animals and the community!

Special Pals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization, founded in 1979, and is the oldest continuously running “no-kill” animal shelter in the Houston metro area. Volunteers are the backbone of the shelter, assisting in various ways to care for the animals and support the mission.
