Atlanta Area Alumni Chapter - How Sports Works For Business Event

Please join us for an interactive discussion about sports and business.  Joe Pierce and Dan Corso bring insider experiences with two leading organizations – AMB Sports and Entertainment and the Atlanta Sports Council.

In 2020, Joe joined AMB Sports and Entertainment, owner of the Falcons, Atlanta United, the new Tomorrow Golf League team, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and several more organizations. He previously directed legal and business administration for the NBA's Charlotte Hornets and operations of the Spectrum Center Arena. At Bank of America, he worked on sports sponsorships and on television rights and media agreements for Comcast Sports Television. Joe earned an MBA at The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.

Dan is President of ASC which is the non-profit sports division of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. ASC facilitates the growth and development of sports in metro Atlanta as a recruiter for major sports events. He has been instrumental in attracting the Super Bowl, NCAA tournaments, 2026 FIFA World Cup, WrestleMania and the U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center to Fayette County during his 26 years with the Chamber.

 

MARTA’s Peachtree Station is right across Ellis Street.  The parking deck for the 191 Building is on Ellis behind the Ritz Carlton.  Parking will be validated.  There will be appetizers and a cash bar.  Dress is business casual.
