Scott Stringer is an Advisory Services partner at Marcum LLP with more than 30 years of experience providing forensic accounting, fraud investigation, and litigation support services to attorneys, individuals and corporations.
Scott provides expert testimony in cases regarding shareholder actions, breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, embezzlement and more. He’s been qualified as an expert in many federal and state courts and has served as arbitrator in post-acquisition disputes. He leads and assists in investigations concerning suspected embezzlement, regulatory actions, accounting irregularities and ethics violations across the U.S. and China.
He earned a B.S. in accounting from Southern Illinois University and an MBA in finance from Saint Louis University; he’s certified in business valuation, financial forensics, global management and fraud examination. He’s a board member of the National Children’s Cancer Society and serves his local council of the Boy Scouts of America.
