Bio

I have over 25 years in behavioral health management and have spent the last two years as the head of the Cobb and Douglas Counties Community Services Board as the Interim Executive Director.

I have been well prepared for the responsibility of establishing and executing any organizations major goals and objectives, as well as for providing leadership, direction and guidance for its activities.

After earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and becoming a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor, I earned an Executive MBA and acquired the status of Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor, Certified Managerial Coach and Executive Coach.

I have coached several KSU EMBA students and I am providing ongoing training in Clinical Supervision in monthly workshops.

An entrepreneur, I have launched two businesses, developing an online game and modifying high-end paint ball markers.

I served as Ethics Chair for the Board of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.

I have been a President of Douglas Kiwanis and a member of Marietta Kiwanis.

I am most thankful for Linda, my wife of over twenty years, and our two children, Gil and Ann Marie. We are active worshipers in the First United Methodist Church of Marietta, where I am an Assistant Scout Master in Troop 277.
