BGS has partnered with a variety of organizations offering unique and valuable internship opportunities for you. (Spoiler alert: ALL of them offer scholarships and/or discounts for BGS members!)
Take a look at the internship programs below. But don’t take too long—most summer internship programs will stop taking applicants in just a few weeks.
The Intern Group
Claim to fame: Provides customized international internship programs around the globe, focused on both professional development and cultural immersion.
Location(s): Choose from more than a dozen cities around the world, including London, Tokyo, Madrid, Toronto and Bangkok.
Cost: Varies based on location and options selected.
Scholarships or discounts available for BGS members? 10% discount to all BGS members year-round; One full-ride scholarship to a BGS member annually.
College credit available? Maybe, depending on your university (their staff is available to help).
Application deadline: Rolling deadlines—they recommend students apply no later than 3 months prior to their preferred start date.

Osgood Center for International Studies
Claim to fame: They offer flexible programs for students interested in international trade policies, international development, national security, cybersecurity, geopolitics, and related areas—through the Osgood Center Professional Development Program or through the Washington Experience program.

Scholarships or discounts available for BGS members? $500.00 USD scholarships for BGS members who aren’t eligible for financial assistance

The Fund for American Studies/TFAS International/DC Internships
Claim to fame: The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) teaches the principles of limited government, free-market economics and honorable leadership through TFAS International and DC Internships.
Location(s): Washington, D.C.; Hong Kong; Prague; Santiago
