Welcome & Introductions

Hello everyone!! I am the current Vice President of Morehead State University's BGS chapter and I'm super excited about the stuff we've been doing this semester!

I am pursuing degrees in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship as well as Information Systems. Outside of class and work, I love to stay physically active by going to the gym and hiking the beautiful state of Kentucky!

This week, MSU held the 18th annual Celebration of Student Scholarship where students in all departments present their research. For the Fall 2023 Business Plan Development course, I presented a project titled "Seeking the Right Retail Mix [in the Appalachian Region]."

This semester long project challenged students to create business plans from scratch with the purpose of filling future vacancies with the development of a downtown hotel.

What kind of research projects have you participated in? Let me know!

Hi Mak,

My name is Bella Schrader and I am a student officer at Marshall University in West Virginia, so we are only about an hour away from you all! I just graduated but I also majored in entrepreneurship and totally loved it. That is such a cool research project! We recently had a student business research symposium here and I did some work focused on sustainability for nonprofits. Nice to meet you and I wish you all the best with BGS this upcoming year!
