New Zealand & Australia Alumni Chapters - Asia Pacific IDEA exchange | The Business of Trust: Reputa

When:  Aug 19, 2026 from 17:00 to 18:30 (NZ)

In an era of misinformation, public scrutiny and instant backlash, trust has become a core business asset. This session explores how organisations build, lose and rebuild credibility – and what leaders can do to protect reputation in high-stakes environments.

Join Auckland University of Technology (AUT), the University of Auckland and the University of Sydney for an exclusive industry-focused webinar on why trust has become a defining factor in organisational success.

This session will examine trust as a strategic business asset rather than a soft concept.

Industry leaders will discuss how organisations actively manage reputation, respond to crises, and maintain credibility with customers, employees, regulators, and investors. We’ll also look at the leadership behaviours and governance practices that protect trust in high-stakes environments.

Facilitated by Drew Franklin

Senior Lecturer in Marketing, Associate Dean External Engagement, University of Auckland
