Bio

I am a government operations professional and environmental conservation advocate with a career built on public service, regulatory compliance, and community impact. A magna cum laude graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business, I have spent more than 15 years in increasingly responsible roles spanning utilities compliance, county government administration, and nonprofit leadership.

Since 2018, I have served as Assistant to Polk County Judge Sydney Murphy in Livingston, Texas, where I oversee budget development across more than 30 county departments, grants and compliance administration, procurement, human resources, and public information. In 2021, I co-founded Polk County Recycling & Beautification (PCRB), a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to expanding recycling access and environmental stewardship in rural East Texas.

In early 2027, my husband and I are relocating to Colorado, Washington, or Oregon, drawn by the landscape, the communities, and a conservation ecosystem that reflects who we are and what we care about most. My husband shares this passion deeply — spending his time studying pollinators and native plants, working to restore native habitats, and capturing the natural world through macro photography.

I am excited to connect with others who share our love for nature and conservation, and to find my place among professionals who are doing the meaningful work of protecting the world we all depend on.
